So-Yeon Ryu donates her Women’s Open winning purse to COVID19 relief
In order to help those in need in this difficult times, So-Yeon Ryu gave back to the COVID19 relief operations in South Korea, donating her winnings when she won recently the 2020 Korea Women's Open. Ryu totaled at 12-under 276 beating Sei Young Kim by 1 stroke. Sources say that Ryu's winnings are about $200,000, and that amount is big enough to help the funds needed in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.
