Chris Kirk takes leave at PGA Tour; undergoes mental health treatment
4-time PGA Tour winner Chris Kirk announced that he'll take an indefinite leave to undergo treatment for his depression and alcohol issues. Kirk just turned 34 this day and took to social media his appreciation for friends and family for the decision he just made. His last win was at the 2015 Crowne Plaza Invitational and is a recipient of the Ben Hogan Award in 2007. His return is yet to be determined but whenever he plans on coming back, fans can guarantee a fully healed Kirk swinging out again on the course.
